These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and applications operated by Wride Ventures LLC ("Wride Ventures," "we," "us," or "our"), including Storyplease. By using our products, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Our products are intended to be operated by adults. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You're responsible for any content you add to a product and for ensuring you have the right to use it — including names, details, and any photos you upload to personalize your experience.
You agree not to misuse our services. Among other things, you won't:
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and plan details are shown at checkout. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable for partial periods, and you'll keep access through the end of your current billing term. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
You retain ownership of the content you create using our products. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership of your stories or family details, and we don't use your personal content to train AI models.
The services, including our software, branding, and design, are owned by Wride Ventures and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the service.
We work to keep our products reliable, but we provide them "as is" and can't guarantee they'll always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features over time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wride Ventures is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the services in a way that could harm others or us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
